An International Chess Tournament dedicated to the 1st President of Georgia, holder of the orders “Honor of the Nation” and “Dzhokhar Dudayev” of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria : Zviad Gamsakhurdia will be held on May 25, 2025 in Mortsel, Belgium.
Participants of all levels and ages are welcome, and the participation is free of charge!
This is not only an opportunity to show your chess skills, but also a tribute to Georgia, the whole Caucasus and the spirit of Caucasian solidarity. Let’s join us to celebrate an important date together -in the spirit of friendship, intellect and unity among the peoples of the Caucasus.

10:30-11:00 : Simultaneous game session with the participation of a master of sports in chess. A great chance for everyone who wants to play with a professional!
11:00 : Start of the tournament
Format : 10 minutes for each player for the whole game
