Inal Sherip, born on 24 June 1971, is a Belgian film director, screenwriter, composer and producer.

He is the son of Chechen film director Supianbek Sheripov.

Winner of numerous international film festivals. Founder and theorist of ‘chess cinema’. President of World Chess Culture (founder of FIDE and the Belgian Institute of the Arts). FIDE rating: 2290 (Fast)1. He was nominated by Ukraine for the FIDE presidential elections held in Chennai, India, in 2022, but had to withdraw from the elections due to a health problem.

He was appointed as minister on November 30, 2022 with the decree no 70.
